I am Willeke – artist and storyteller in paint. My heart beats faster with contrasts: the soft next to the rough, the feminine AND the powerful. I paint mostly women, in all their shapes, colors and moods.

My work arises intuitively – from a look, a conversation, a feeling. Each painting tells a story, but leaves plenty of room for yours.
