She who dreams

In the starlight, transformation occurs. Because of the butterflies, the atmosphere. What transformation would it be ? Does she look back or forward. It is a loving portrait, full of peace and contentment. The gold gives a magical feeling.

Several techniques were used in this painting.

I always put on the first layer with acrylic. Then I know the light and dark.

This is followed by several layers of oil paint. These are often transparent layers that give you depth in your painting.

As a background, I used oiled percussion metal.

As a finish there is a subtle varnish layer over it
