Several techniques were used in this painting.

I always put on the first layer with acrylic. Then I know the light and dark.

This is followed by several layers of oil paint. These are often transparent layers that give you depth in your painting.

The frame is co-painted in 2k automotive paint to get the same atmosphere in color.
